Acne Skin Care Training:

A Change of Pace for a Brighter Looking Face!

Are you ready for some acne! I suspect you've had enough of that, but I am sure you are interested in some acne skin care training.

A Coulple of facts:

Common Acne otherwise known as "teenage acne" or "acne vulgaris" affects BOTH teens and adults. In fact 95% of the population will suffer from this type of acne in their ADULT lives.

I am sure this is reassuring if your a teen! If you are an adult you already know what I am talking about.

The good news is, you don't need to suffer any longer.

Before I can show you how to deal with your acne you need to understand what causes acne and how it comes about.

First thing to know,

1)The causes are unknown!!

WHAT!?!?!

Before you despair we do have probable factors that contribute to acne,

a) genetics (oops! too late)

b) hormonal (here you got some control, or lack of it!)

c) oily skin

d) dry skin (sit tight I'll explain later)

e)bacteria build up

REALITY CHECK:

There is NO CURE for Acne. It will never go away for life. But we can CONTROL its manifestations. We can live without it(you can say that again!),for the most part.

For many people proper home treatment with a few over the counter remedies can take care of the situation. For others we got some tricks up our sleeve. But First,

Dispelling Some Acne Myths:

1)Acne is not caused by dirt, so don't over scrub and use harsh soaps it is unnecessary and can irritate the skin. Irritation will cause inflammation to increase.

2) Foods do not cause Acne, but they are believed to be involved in flare ups, more about this later.

3) Sun is not your friend, in fact UV rays lead to the development of whiteheads by damaging pore openings and causing blockage in the pores.

Acne Skin Care Training Practical Tip:

Wake Up With Your Make Up!

(not literally of course, although I know someone who does!)

Oily make ups clog pores and will cause a breakout. You don't need to avoid make up completely.(not for this reason anyway)Look for oil-free or water-based make ups advertised as noncomedogenic.

Aside: Throughout this acne skin care training I will be dropping some practical tips. Get a notepad and right them down!
